A note from Ross:
Hello and welcome. My name is Ross Kanter, and I have a master’s degree from the University of San Diego in Marital and Family Therapy. In undergraduate, I studied psychology and philosophy of religion at CUNY Hunter College in New York City.
I’m originally from Chicago, but recently moved to San Diego from Brooklyn, NY, where I spent the last decade splitting time between careers in the corporate world and in the music/arts community as a producer and songwriter.
Over time, I learned that the dissonance experienced between one’s values and one’s context can be uncomfortable and confusing. I have discovered the importance of cultivating a life that resonates with one’s deeply held values, and I look forward to joining you on this journey.
I believe that the words we choose have the power to inject meaning into our lives that aligns with our needs and preferred identities. I hope to collaborate in exploring the power of language in forming meaning that is both empowering and sustainable. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me, and I look forward to talking with you.
