All our MFT Associates have completed their Master’s degree from an accredited Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) graduate program such as San Diego State University or University of San Diego. They are supervised by a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or an AAMFT Supervisor Candidate.
- MFT Associates (I) – have 500 clinical hours and are beginning their first year of post-graduate clinical training.
- MFT Associates (II) – have completed more than 1 year of post-graduate experience and/or more than 1500 clinical hours.
- MFT License-Eligible Therapists – have completed 3,000 clinical hours and are preparing for the California State licensing exams administered by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
