·       Hoàng was born and raised in Sài Gòn, Việt Nam. 

·       Hoàng received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

·       Prior to changing career direction, Hoàng worked in the defense industry for over 10 years.

·       Hoàng earned a master’s degree in Counseling from SDSU in 2016 and became a licensed MFT in 2020. 

·       Hoàng sees clients, supervises, and coordinates ongoing supervision support for NISD trainees and associates. 

·       Hoàng is drawn to relationships, activities, and conversations that help us feel settled and connected to our preferred mental states.

·       Hoàng’s current interests include spirituality, reading, writing, languages, and traveling.
