A Note from Chantel:

Welcome! I’m Chantel. I am an MFT Trainee pursuing my Doctorate in Couple & Family Therapy at Alliant International University. I am committed to helping people see that they are more than the fragments of their experiences. It is in the hardest moments of life where sitting with someone can make a tremendous difference when searching for a way forward. My clinical approach is rooted in the belief that problems are not created alone, so you don’t have to face your challenges alone. Together, we’ll explore the rich stories of your life, considering physiological and relational insights to foster a holistic sense of well-being.

I strive to create a therapeutic space where we can question and challenge the larger social expectations that often limit our sense of agency. By acknowledging and addressing these external influences, we can uncover your innate strengths and resilience. My goal is to support you in reshaping your story, empowering you to live a more authentic and fulfilling life. I am particularly passionate about feminist-informed work, which means I strive to invite aspects of social and cultural dynamics that impact client experiences into our work together. While I am happy to work with anyone seeking care, I have an interest in supporting experiences with:

  • Clients who might find comfort in working with an African American Clinician
  • Clients seeking new relational perspectives in couples, families, and contemporary relationships (i.e. roommates, etc.)
  • Clients navigating maternal health experiences pre and post-pregnancy
  • Navigating changes in life or circumstance
  • Navigating work-life balance in school or professional work
  • Clients within the LGBTQIA+ community seeking an affirming space
  • Relational Accountability
  • Navigating experiences that clients might name as anxiety or depression

Let’s embark on this journey together, where your story matters and your voice is heard. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.
